I love it! I watched it all the way through 2 times, and am now ready to go back for more! You have answered many of my questions (before I have even had a chance to ask you them), and I am ready to move beyond the green box! The chapters are easy to follow, and the concepts are easy to grasp! I love that I can pause, read my manual, practice, then get right back into what you are teaching! Modern day technology is amazing - having your in my family room, mentoring me at my own pace is an incredible tool! This is a must have for anyone who scrapbooks - all great pages (or stories) begin with fabulous photos! Thank you Me Ra Koh Photography!

This dvd was amazing! I have been doing photography for a few years now but this dvd opened up a whole new understanding! I can't get enough of it. Everything is explined in a simple way that I was finally able to understand...I am now hooked and can't wait to practice what I learned. I will be watching many times to absorb it all!

What I loved about this DVD is there's information to learn for both the beginner and the (slightly) more advanced. The way Me Ra explains metering and her tips on capturing silhouettes were real AH HA! moments for me! And seeing Brian as the "Nutty Professor" is worth it for the DVD alone!

I am so grateful for this DVD! I love how the exercises provide simple homework... MeRa and Brian act as translators - teaching me how to communicate with my camera. If there's ANY downside - it's that now I want more a more powerful lens to play with!

After reading book after book on using your digital SLR I found that this was the only thing I needed to get the look I was after......a great shot! It's so nice to finally know how to achieve what I want instead of just hoping for the best. They make it so clear that anyone who gets or has a digital slr should buy this dvd.

I was just starting to understand Aperture when I watched this, but shutter speed was foreign to me. Right after I finished watching this my son woke up from a nap and I was able to take some shots of him in manual mode and the suprising part was... they turned out! Thank you!

This wonderful (and often hilarious) DVD not only offered technical explanations, but it took away that fear of venturing outside the "green box". I can't tell you the change it has made in the way I take photos. This and the "Refuse to Say Cheese" set are like a "mentor in a box"...they answer all of those questions you want to ask and make you feel supported and confident!! Why spend all that money on a nice new camera and then not learn how to use it to it's full potential? If your like me you read your manual, bought or checked out book's, searched online and still felt confused with how to use your camera on more than just auto. It seemed like the more I read the more confused I got. I wished I had someone that could just show me! Well when I got Beyond the Green Box that's exactly what I got! A friend named Me Ra that spoke real english in terms that I could totally understand. All those scary technical terms that I just couldnt make clear in my mind, became crystal clear the moment I popped this DVD in my machine. Getting out of that green box will do wonders for your images and allow you to cultivate your creativity in ways you never could before.

I am a pro (fessional that is) and I know my camera pretty well, I loved this dvd! You can ALWAYS learn something new and I learned a few new things with this. I actually watched it with my 10 year old and aspiring photog skylar, he loved professor tausand! :) So, thumbs up from me!

I decided this evening that I would play hookie from work tomorrow. As usual after the kids went to bed I began giving my Google search engine a work out looking for SOMEONE to explain to me how to understand all these funny terms that everyone seemed to know all about. In searching for a workshop, I stumbled upon Me Ra's website. I REALLY wanted to take a workshop but figured I should learn the basics first. I immediately purchased both DVD's and watched both this evening. Both DVD's breakdown using your camera in an super easy format. I am so glad I am playing hookie tomorrow so I can practice what I learned tonight.
